Membership

Membership is open to everyone over the age of 16 who self-identifies as having a disability. Membership is free. Once you are a member, you can access any of our Empowerment & Skills Development services or Peer Support activities. Our Information & Referral services are available to everyone.

Volunteering

At OILRC, volunteers are a valued and integral part of the services we provide. Volunteers are screened and matched to opportunities according to their individual preferences, skills, interests and availability.
Volunteers can assist with Peer Support activities, provide administrative support at the office, work one-on-one with consumers, participate in fundraising initiatives, apply to be on our Board of Directors, and more!

We are currently seeking volunteers for our Creative Expressions program.
This art program takes place 3 Wednesdays a month from 1 to 3 pm.
We are seeking friendly individuals to assist our members, no prior art experience is necessary!

Students

We are pleased to provide educational opportunities for students at OILRC. Many college and university students have completed rewarding field placements are OILRC. Students are able to assist in the various services we offer and can work with both individuals and groups.
