What is Peer Support? : Peer support is community support via activities. Creative Expressions, an art program is currently our most popular one. It is open to anyone who is interested! We are so excited to see you!
Come join us for afternoons of artistic expression though many different kinds of art. Led by local artist Allyson Luedtke, create individual paintings, huge group projects, and fantastic art. Plus, you get to do it all for free! Make friends and stunning pieces with our Creative Expressions Workshop. Take your art home to keep or leave it at OILRC and see it go up on the wall or around the office!

Melodics Music Program
Come play some fantastic music with us and join the music circle! In this workshop, we learn about music and jam out some cool tunes. It’s a great one to get the creative juices following. Develop and maintain a love of music all while spending time with some great friends!
Stretch and relax with yoga here at OILRC. Led by Janice, come and keep fit while still having fun with friends. Take your mind away from stress and get some rest and relaxation with us!
Dance. Fit. Fun!
Get your blood flowing with some great and fun exercise through dance. Keeping active doesn’t have to be exhausting or boring – with Dance. Fit. Fun! you get to stay in shape, get healthy, get fit, and have some fantastic fun while you do it! So dance like no one is watching! It’ll be fun – we promise!
Plant, weed, water, and grow! Our community garden is a place to have some fun in the sun all while growing some lovely veggies! We’re putting the ‘community’ back into community garden as we work as a team to tend the vegetables and plants! Come join us as urban farmers at the Richelieu-Vanier Community Centre!
Let’s grab lunch! Come and join us as we treat ourselves by going out to restaurants for lunch. Whether we grab some pizza, burgers, or sandwiches, there’s always something yummy to eat and great company to be had.
Healthy eating is a crucial part of life. To help inspire a nutritious lifestyle, we offer our Healthy Eats program in which we do lots of different activities! Whether we go to the store and shop together for healthy foods or do some healthy cooking seminars, we’re spreading knowledge about healthy foods as best we can!
